It is the building of our local Coca Cola bottler. I am a Coke (just the drink, not the drug) addict, so this one seemed appropriate.

Missouri Department of Transportation
MODOT has been in the news a lot over the past couple of years. It usually has to do with money and road projects. I guess I can understand why they are being scrutinized. Here is just one example of a bridge that they built. The bridge is rather old now. Looking at the second photo you can see exactly where it goes - Nowhere. Hmm, maybe they are having some problems.
Just kidding around. I am not even sure if this bridge was built by MODOT or the city. It use to be functional and did not simply lead to a mound of dirt and grass. Looking at the deteriorated state, I don't even believe it would be safe to use. The funny part is that this little bridge is on MODOT property (behind the building on Missouri Blvd).

Mid American
I would have to say that the busline says it all. Mid-American. Not much more Mid-American than being at the Capitol Building in Jefferson City, MO.
Our current Capitol Building was built between 1913-1917. You can find out a bit more about it here.
