I've never seen a cow in real life -- well, maybe once when I was kid driving with my dad across Canada.
That seems surprising to me, but there is a lot of farming in the midwest, thus a fair amount of cattle. There is someone that actually has cows just blocks away from where I live. It is in the city limits. It is not far from our Wal Mart Super Center either, which might give you an idea of how commonplace it is. It appears to be part of a family farm that has been there for some time.
I have never seen Canada. Maybe someday you'll get to see a real cow and I'll get to see Canada.
