A tree by the old Missouri State Penitentiary, which is to be decommissioned later this month. All of the prisoners, of which there were approximately 1,350, were already moved to the new Jefferson City Correctional Center last month. Prior to that it had been the oldest working prison west of the Mississippi. It was used for 168 years. On October 23rd and 24th the prison is to open it's doors for tours to the public. I hope to be able to make it.
