Theme Thursday - Eye-catcher
It was kind of interesting. I was headed to work and this flag waving in the wind caught my eye. Hence the perfect photo opportunity for today's theme at Theme Thursday. It just so happens that this flag is at a branch of a local bank. This Jefferson Bank branch opens at 8:30am. It was around 7:45am when I took the photos. As I was snapping away an employee leaned out the door and questioned why I was taking pictures of the bank. I explained that I wasn't, I was taking pictures of the flag (of course small parts of the building are in the background, but I was not casing the joint). I told her that I would be more than happy to show her if she would like. She was fine with my explanation and returned inside. It reminds one that in the world today you need to be conscious of what you are doing and where you are doing it. I understand being at a lending institution she was being conscious of the threat of crime and/or potential terrorism. Anyway, what better eye-catcher could any American ask for than the U.S. Flag.
